TikTok is a short-form video sharing application that shares various videos for free. Of course this platform is very relevant to the purpose of learning, because this application provides video features that are beneficial for learning English in an interesting, creative and not boring way for students, especially for this era which is closely related to gadgets (4). For feedback between teachers and students, this application provides a comment field feature, which makes it easier for teachers and students to interact directly or students and teacher can share a direct message by privately (4). From that, we can say this application is very accessible and the features are understandable for both teachers and students, so it is certain that students or teacher will easily operate individually (4). The use of this application makes students motivated to do assignments because this application is not monotonous, interesting and very easy to use for the current generation, so they can also improving their talent in the field of video editing or even videography, this application also makes it easier for students to view new assignments by checking from the account post in the 'my friends' feature and also ‘for your page’ feature. (4). In this application it is easy for students to save and share their performance records and products for teachers to see (4). Lastly, TikTok is very accessible for all mobile phone and tablet users, even tought this application must be needed to download the application, but can be directly accessed through and they can login and anything for free and easily (4).   

TikTok can be used in ELT, because on this platform there are many features that support the learning process in English with creatively, such as make many videos with interesting features, comment field feature, etc. In learning, teachers can make videos explaining material that are interesting and can be shared and also accessed by students and commented on. Likewise with students they can make videos for assignments or other things that can be directly seen by teachers and their friends. Not only that, TikTok also has a big impact on ELT, namely Tiktok can make it easier for ELT to motivate students to do assignments and also listen to material made by teachers in the form of videos. From this explanation, we can see that TikTok has many advantages, namely that this application can be accessed anywhere and anytime by students and teachers for free, besides that this application provides many supporting features and also make it easier for teachers to make videos explaining material that is interesting, short and clear and can also develop students' interests and talents in the fields of editing and videography. 

However, what is very unfortunate in TikTok consumes quite a bit of the internet, although it can be accessed without paying and also TikTok takes up a lot of memory space. And finally, from TikTok we can use effectively language skills or components in the form of speaking and listening.
